There isn't really much bad to say about this battery. I conditioned it when I first got it, and it works just as good as the original did when it was new.

THE GENERIC FITS WELL AND WORKS WELL. HOLDS A CHARGE FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS. BUT HE SHOULD LET BUYERS KNOW THEY ARE NOT GETTING AN ORIGINAL HP PRODUCT BECAUSE THAT INFLUENCED MY DECISION TO PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER.

I bought two HP DV2200 laptops for my daughters for use in college. Unfortunately, we did not condition either battery at the time and their original batteries lasted about 15 minutes. I bought them each one of these batteries and now they get close to 2 hours on battery (we conditioned them first by fully charging and fully discharging 3 times). This was a good replacement battery for their HP laptop.
